Construction
Sunrite side control roller blind systems consist of three versions which are designed for progressively larger and heavier blinds. The diameters of the sprockets for the control chains increase accordingly to enable larger blinds to be operated with the minimum of physical effort.
Each system is identified by the diameter of the extruded aluminium tube which the fabric and control unit are secured to. They are named after the metric diameter of each tube: system 32, system 40 and system 45. Each system features an end cap locking system on the control unit and a spring loaded plunger on the idle end, thus keeping the blind secure in its brackets in the event of misuse.
All systems offer the choice of a plastic or metal control chain, along with extruded aluminium or plastic bottom bars. Controls can be on the left or right hand side to suit accessibility. Mounting brackets are universal, allowing side, top or face fixing.
Fabrics
Sunrite offer a huge range of fabrics in a wide spectrum of colours, including solar protective coated, open weave, opaque and blackout, many of which are flame retardant to BS 5867 1980, Part 2, Type B. Product data sheets and samples are available on request.
Special Applications
Blinds can be supplied with guide wires or side channels. Electric operation is available on request. Cassette head boxes are also available. A corporate screen and digital printing service is available for a wide range of fabrics.
