Soft Blinds including Roman Blinds
In our dedicated soft furnishings factory we have all the skills and expertise required to produce curtains and soft furnishings of a standard to suit any project. Our staff will produce low cost volume work for projects such as schools and hospitals etc. Whilst the traditional crafts of our seamstress's will produce hand sewn draperies including swags and tails, decorative pelmets etc, for prestige areas.
The term 'soft blind' covers a number of blinds made from soft, or unstiffened fabric. One could say that 'soft blinds' are curtains that go up and down instead of from side to side. Sunrite Blinds Ltd will make and supply all types of soft blinds. FESTOON BLINDS are made up from fabric in ruched panels, and frilled all round. AUSTRIAN BLINDS are made up from flat panels with straight edges, so that they look like a curtain, when they are down. They are often contrast lined, and like festoon blinds, they pull up to form swags. ROMAN BLINDS on the other hand look almost like roller blinds when they are down. They are made from soft fabric, and are often lined. They are made with a number of horizontal rods sewn into pockets, and when they are pulled up the fabric folds neatly into a number of soft pleats.
We offer a complete selection of hardware from all leading suppliers, according to specification. We supply all types of tracks, including wooden, brass or wrought iron poles, corded or uncorded tracks, hospital cubicle rails and shower curtain tracks. Many of these products can be electrically operated. Sunrite Blinds Ltd are main distributers and wholesalers of hospital cubicle tracks for Scotland.
Our soft furnishings factory also produces plain or quilted bedspreads, duvets, duvet covers, cushion covers, loose or fitted upholstery covers, or indeed any item of soft furnishings that may be required.
Being a trade supplier, we will work with any fabric specified either as a making subcontractor only, or handle the complete package including supply of fabrics, and flame proofing if required. We hold a comprehensive stock of fabrics from many suppliers, whilst a wide range of linings are stocked, including flame-retardant, blackout and coloured sateens.
